With over 20 years of experience in dental implantology, Dr. Valentin D. Timonea builds — every year — implant solutions for patients other practices have turned away. He has placed more than 1,000 classic endosseous implants and holds specialized competence in the custom subperiosteal implant — a rare technique indicated for severe bone atrophy.

Every patient receives a fully personalized treatment plan, built on CBCT imaging and on their specific clinical situation — not on a one-size-fits-all protocol.

Daily practice combines classic implantology — endosseous implants, All-on-4, All-on-6, complex reconstructions — with specialized competence in the custom subperiosteal implant: a titanium framework digitally designed on the patient's CT scan and fabricated through 3D printing. The technique offers a real alternative for patients with severe bone atrophy who are no longer candidates for classic implants.

Outside the practice, he actively tracks tooth regeneration research — including ongoing clinical trials for TRG-035, the anti-USAG-1 antibody that, in phase 1 studies, demonstrated the ability to induce growth of a third set of teeth in patients with congenital tooth agenesis. For practice patients, this remains a long-term perspective; for today, the solutions stay clinically proven — implant, graft, restoration.
